GOODGLOW is a duo formed of long-time artistic collaborators, Holly Wilson and Matt Spier. Emerging in late 2021 from the rubble of a post-covid music scene in their home town of Newcastle NSW, GOODGLOW embrace a punk DYI ethos when creating their unique brand of slowcore-tinged dream pop and the art that surrounds it. ‘Closer’ is the duo’s debut single — a moody & broody, slinky & sexy crawl through apathy and longing mixed by Antonia Gauci (Troye Sivan, The Buoys, Vallis Alps).
