Originally hailing from Launceston, Tasmania. The Night Slug is native to the dance floors of Australia, Breaking onto the scene in 2024, The Night Slug is radio host turned DJ Rohan Edwards. His debut release ‘Body Drop’ saw The Night Slug team up with none other than Australia’s biggest dance music export and good friend of the Slug, Tommy Trash, with a release on esteemed label Hau5trap. The Night Slug’s remix of Dave Winnel ‘Bang It’ was released by TMRW Music, with both tracks charting on Beatport’s Bass House chart. With support from the likes of Afrojack, Oliver Heldens, Joel Corry, Bijou, Don Diablo and Bingo Players, and spins from Sam Divine on Kiss FM and Latifa Tee on triple j, nothing is slowing this Slug down. With a bunch of original releases in his sights, plus residencies at The Abercrombie in Sydney and Newcastle’s biggest party, Made on Sunday, keep your eyes out for The Night Slug leaving a trail of bangers in his wake.
