A strange ensemble possesses their mind. First conjured by transformative experiences, Cacti Moon’s songs are the pieces of a cryptic jigsaw puzzle for you to put back together. Their band boasts a six piece ensemble with a whip-cracking vocal, guitars, keys, flute and a fiery rhythm section. While there are fascinating stories beneath the surface, they are guarded to protect the faint of heart. Don’t get too close if you can’t handle the sting. Cacti’s roots remain in the dry, desert land of NSW Australia. They were subjected to a testing upbringing which resulted in the artist developing Dissociative Identity Disorder. While challenges come with this, it also means that Cacti Moon is a vessel of several musicians working both solo and collaboratively to release their repertoire. The trauma transformed into treasure, serenading with a residual sting. After all, a cactus will flourish in the harshest of conditions.
